Saturday Evening Banquet

Masquerade Ball and Silent Auction

Get together with your friends and family to make a creative skit, dance or any kind of performance! We couldn't ask for an easier crowd! Entertainment is a wonderful service! It fosters teamwork and fun, and provides reversion for years to come! We encourage you to make use of the music and stage lighting! Just bring a CD and instructions for the light technician. Please feel free to have fun!

Bring a item to for the silent auction. Bids are written on a sheet of paper and at the dinner, the highest listed bidder wins the prize. Contact: Elisabeth Callahan if you are bring an auction item.

Costume Ideas:
Brilliant Evening Star: Navy jumpsuit with sparkles and sequins radiating from a star on the on top of the head or on the chest. Attach the sequins with hot glue. and the Brilliant Morning Star: Peach jumpsuit with sequins and sparkles and a star on the top of the head and pink heart on the chest. Mustard into the core of the Finality... The giant mustard bottle starts at the low hip and goes over the head. Wear a black unitard with Mickey Mouse gloves. The head peeks through a hole in the mustard bottle. The label can include excerpts from corps of the finality.

Performance: Quotes from a character, scenes from the Urantia Book, comedy, narration by the MC, music

You may wear your costumes anytime during IC08.

Excursions:

There are no planned side trips or excursions and there will be no "free day" but July 4th will be a "light day" for those who wish to take advantage of the many opportunities the Los Angeles area affords, like Disney Land, Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier, or Universal Studios to name a few.

The light day will include study groups, speakers and leaders workshops, contemplative prayer retreat, musician's retreat and much more. Or enjoy two large swimming pools and tennis courts. Westwood is just off campus where you can enjoy upscale shopping and great dining. There is plenty to do on campus and off.
